Potted Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 lb. of chopped meat
- 4 eggs
- 1 ½ Cups of bread crumbs
- 2 Cloves of garlic
- Bunch of Italian parsley
- 2 Tablespoons of grated cheese
- 2 Onions, chopped
- 1 can of Del Monte sauce
- ½ Teaspoon of basil
- ½ Teaspoon of oregano
- String beans (optional)
- Potatoes (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Combine first 10 ingredients and form into balls. Fry in a deep pot with a little oil, browning all sides. Add onion, Del Monte sauce, salt, oregano and basil. Let cook for ½ hour. Add string beans and or potatoes while meatballs are cooking. Serve juices and meat over boiled rice.
