Potted Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. of chopped meat
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ Cups of bread crumbs
  • 2 Cloves of garlic
  • Bunch of Italian parsley
  • 2 Tablespoons of grated cheese
  • 2 Onions, chopped
  • 1 can of Del Monte sauce
  • ½ Teaspoon of basil
  • ½ Teaspoon of oregano
  • String beans (optional)
  • Potatoes (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Combine first 10 ingredients and form into balls. Fry in a deep pot with a little oil, browning all sides. Add onion, Del Monte sauce, salt, oregano and basil. Let cook for ½ hour. Add string beans and or potatoes while meatballs are cooking. Serve juices and meat over boiled rice.
