Turkey Stuffing
Ingredients
- 2 lbs. Chopped meat
- 4 Eggs 5-6 Stalks of celery, chopped
- 2 Onions, chopped finely
- 2 Cups of bread crumbs
- 2 Cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 Bunch of fennel tops, chopped
- 1 Cup of raisins *that have been soaked in water.
- 1 Teaspoon of thyme
- 1 Teaspoon of Bells seasoning Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Brown meat in a frying pan adding one onion at a time. When onion is cooked, toss with remaining ingredients. Do not stuff turkey until ready to cook. Cook turkey according to it’s weight. Place turkey in a large roasting pan, legs side down. Cover with a cheese cloth and spread with melted butter. Cheese cloth allows you to baste less frequently.
