Broccoli & Macaroni

Ingredients

  • 5 nice heads of broccoli
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 cloves of minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • Dash of crushed red pepper
  • Your favorite pasta
  • Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

Wash broccoli in cold water. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté broccoli. Be careful not to let the broccoli become too brown. Cook in pressure cooker or 6 Qt. pot with salt, oregano, basil and crushed red pepper. Cook 1 ½ minutes. *If cooking in regular pot, check with fork for doneness.

SAFETY NOTE: Do not move away from the pressure cooker while cooking. Boil your favorite pasta in lightly salted water. About 8 minutes. Drain and toss with broccoli and top with parmesan cheese.
