Shrimp, Lobster or Calamari Sauce
Ingredients
- Garlic, chopped
- Olive oil
- 3-4 Large cans of Progresso plum tomatoes
- 1 Teaspoon of Basil
- 1 Teaspoon of Oregano
- 1 Teaspoon of Hot crushed red pepper
- Salt to taste
- ½ Teaspoon of Capers
- Shrimp, Lobster or Calamari
- 3 Bay leaves Pasta
Cooking Instructions
In a large frying pan, heat 3 Tablespoons of Olive oil. When oil is hot add garlic. *Do not allow the garlic to become brown. Crush 3-4 cans of plum tomatoes in a blender for a few seconds, then add to pan. Add basil, oregano, red pepper, capers and salt to taste. When sauce comes to a boil lower to a simmer and add your choice of fish. Cook for a ½ hour more. Remove bay leaves. Serve over pasta.
